How Venues Can Go Live on LiveVibes

Welcome to LiveVibes! As a registered Venue, you can stream your events live for your audience. Follow the steps below to go live using third-party tools like OBS, StreamYard, or Restream.

Stream via Third-Party Software (OBS, StreamYard, Restream, etc.)

If you want overlays, multiple cameras, or professional-grade streaming, you can add Scenes to your streaming software.

Step 1: Get Your Stream Details

  • Go to Manage Events from Profile icon in Navbar.
  • Select any event you want to stream.
  • Click on Go Live button for the event.
  • Click on Start Streaming button.
  • Copy the following:
    • Server URL (RTMP URL)
    • Stream Key

Keep your Stream Key private — it works like a password.

Step 2: Setup Your Streaming Software

Example: OBS Studio (Free)

  1. Download OBS Studio → obsproject.com
  2. Open OBS → Settings > Stream
  3. Select Custom Streaming Server.
  4. Paste your:
    • Server URL (from go live dashboard)
    • Stream Key (from go live dashboard)
  5. Add your camera, microphone, or screen sources in OBS.
  6. Click Start Streaming.

Your stream will appear live on your event page.

Step 3: End the Stream

  • When your event ends → click Stop Streaming in your software.
  • Then → click Stop Streaming from Live Vibes platform.
